Qantas on a Multimillion – Dollar Upgrade

Qantas, the flagship carrier of Australia, is going through a multimillion-dollar revamp on the Boeing 767 fleet. Qantas embarks on a grand revamp to face a fierce competition with Virgin Australia as well as to fight to gain a larger market share in the domestic industry.

Sixteen planes will go through the refurbishment commencing October 2012. The changes and upgrades are based on a survey of 15,000 travellers speaking of what they love and hate about domestic flights.

Under the new face-lift, here is a sneak peak in to the latest of Qantas:
Pursuing a contemporary theme thus refurbish with new interiors from renowned designer in Sydney, Marc Newson-designed Interiors

Business Class seats feature charcoal toned upholstery and aubergine finished for Economy Class

Adding more to the interior of the planes includes new carpeting, curtains, dividers and brighter lighting

Free of charge iPads for Business and Economy Class passengers. Passengers are accessible to 200 hours worth of music and movies on demand for in-flight entertainment
