British Airways To Increase Service To Shanghai

British Airways announces to offer daily services to Shanghai, China starting end of March. Shanghai is considered as one of the major hubs for thriving economic activity requiring abundant business travel. Moreover, Shanghai is also a renowned tourist destination for its stunning skyline and historic attractions thus drawing the attention of large crowds from all over the world.

Understanding the increasing demand in both business and leisure, British Airways increases services to seven flights a week. Furthermore, to expanding services to the destination network in China, the airline will be launching three times weekly to Chengdu starting 22 September 2013.

British Airways has been offering services to Shanghai since the beginning of 2005. Jamie Cassidy, General Manager British Airways for Middle East & Asia Pacific, states the importance of building economic ties, invitation to Chinese companies to grow in UK market and many more.
