Dubai International Terminal 1 To Undergo Refurbishment

On the first quarter of year 2013, a major renovation of Dubai International’s Terminal 1 is due to begin.

On completion, the Terminal 1 will feature an efficient and streamlined baggage screening in departure halls, upgrade of baggage systems, replacement of all check-in desks and face-lift to all public areas.

The latest upgrades aims at creating a more spacious, time efficient and a hassle free experience to passengers. The refurbishment program additionally involves an expanded arrival hall with new retail and restaurants outlets.

The refurbishment plan is expected to be completed by the end of 2013.
