Increased Security Measures at All UK Airports

There is an increase security measures places at all UK Airports according to EU regulations. The random security procedures and restrictions were effective from 20 September 2012.

Strict rules are applied to passengers on what to carry and what not to carry in hand luggage. Furthermore, maximum of two bags per passenger will be allowed through British Airports Authority (BAA). However, passengers will be requested and sent back to check-in if not adhered to the above rule.

With this in mind, Etihad Airways informs passengers to check-in early and be at boarding gates prior to one hour before flights departures and 45 minutes prior for privilege and business travellers.
